Norton 04 and KB828741

When installing norton 04, I received the following error message:

Norton AntiVirus has encountered an internal program error (3009,0)

ErrorMessage: unspecified error. : res://C:\Program Files\Norton
AntiVirus\Cfgwiz.exe/CfgWizRoadmap.htm : 895

As part of the solution suggested by Norton, I need to uninstall windows
hotfix kb828741. Problem is add/remove programs has no button to uninstall
the fix. Anyone know how to either circumvent this problem? Thanx, Jeremy

Perhaps something where I can use the actual software I purchased.

You spent /money/ on it?! You're a bigger idiot than I had at first thought.
Why anyone would pay good money for garbage is beyond me. That hotfix
(TTBOMK) is uninstallable. Ditch NAV and install AVG. Your computer will
thank you. NAV is bloated, a resource hog and should be removed from sale.

Fact is you can uninstall the hotfix if you have the right tools to work
with. Setup disk with recovery console helped me install the old dll files.
Apparently this idiot accomplished something that you weren't able to. NAV
is up and running and is working fine now and the hotfix has been
reinstalled. Stick that in your pie hole you software nazi ditch witch.

Yours truly,

Jeremy.
