freakin norton

every time i try to install norton antivirus 2002 and it
takes you thru the set up, when it gets to the
config.wiz, I get a script error:

An error has occured in the script on this page

do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
whether you answer yes or no, the rest of the set up
program hangs forever till you manually shut it down.

Hi Tina

Found installing 2003 sorted these problems..

However buying new software is not available to everyone. Uninstall Nortons.
Delete all symantec folders related to antivirus. Careful if you have any
other Norton products. Get Rnav2003.exe from symantec site which helps clean
the registry. I usually run it three or four time choosing all options.

Then reinstall

Gees Tina I thought Everything I read concerning XP said
1 Freakin Norton 2002 was not compatible
2 Remove Freakin Norton b4 install
