no tcp/ip after installation

When I try to install XP on another computer there is no tcp/ip. I have two
computers at home and I want to change OS on the oldest - on that machine my
XP-Home edition works fine even when I reinstall it. No problem there. But
when I install another OS on that machine (the oldest) and want to install
XP-Home on my other computer tcp/ip doesn't work. It doesn't even seem to be
installed. The problem doesn't appear during installation. It just doesn't
work when the installation is complete. I have even tried to activate my
XP-home through the phone and that doesn't help either. Maybe Microsoft
thinks that I want to have my sole edition of XP-home on both computers and
that isn't allowed. But that is not the case. How do I fix this?

Hi
When an OS is installed it needs all the drivers. Many drivers are included
with the OS.
However some 3rd party vendors do not bother to submit drivers, or the
Drivers were written after the release of the OS.
Network and Audio drivers are the most notorious Not to be installed.
Make sure that the new Installation installed all the drivers. the info is
available in the new installation Device Manger.

The issue is solved. Thanks for your answer. It turned out that I have an
OEM-license, so I can't move it to any other computer.
