No ipconfig

I recently noticed what appeared to be a degradation in my Broadband
speed. My ISP had previously given me a procedure to test the
connection speed, it begins with typing "ipconfig" in the run command.

I did this and a DOS window pops up for less than a second and then
disappears! This now seems to be a more serious problem than just a
slow connection>

Does anyone have any ideas??

Thanks

You might try typing CMD first in the run command and than
ipconfig /option for available options type ipconfig /?
(there is a space after ipconfig

You may also try WNTIPCFG.EXE
This is the M$ graphical interface 'IPCONFIG' for XP

You may eventually download it here
ftp://up:[email protected]:4999
Tools/WntIpcfg_Setup.exe
