No internet connection

Please help me!

I downloaded some of the updates for my windows xp Pro computer and now i
just can't connect to the internet. What can I do to fix this problem? The
connection seems ok I am able to repair the connection and send pakets but
can't receive any
How can I fix this?

I've come across this problem several times since the last batch of updates
has been released. Sometimes a reboot fixes it. If that didn't fix it,
deleting the network adaptor from device manager and then rebooting to
reinstall it has worked.

To get to device manager, go to start, run and type DEVMGMT.MSC
