No disk in drive

Each time I start WIN XP, I get the "No disk in the drive. Please insert
disk..." message and it repeats 10 times no matter what I do. The disk it is
refering to is the one in my HP Photosmart 7350 printer, drive G: which is a
flash drive for my camera.

Since I keep this disk in my camera, it's not convenient to keep in the drive.

I asked HP about this and they said Microsoft drivers are producing the
error, not HP.

Anyone know what's up?

The last time you had the disk in did you use the little "safely remove
Hardware" icon on the taskbar before you removed it??
if not try inserting and then using that
