no desktop after logging in windows 2000 server

Dear Guys,


Please help me with my win2000 server
the case no desktop after logging in windows 2000 server, same time SQL
server is up & running I can access HD on the server.

I tried to rename the file shdocvw.dll to shdocvw.old
What should I do to resolve this problem?

I would try these things, in this order:

- Safe Mode
- Last known good configuration
- Re-install Win2000 over the top of the existing installation

To prevent a disaster, I would probably take a snapshot of
the disk before I started, using DriveImage from PowerQuest.
