"No Connection" Message When I Clear Cookies

Every time I clear cookies, I start getting this random message that there's
no connection currently available, do I want to Work Offline? Click Try
Again or work offline. That's not word for word but close. I have DSL so I
always have a connection, and eventually, I guess when the cookies start to
accumulate, I stop getting the message. It doesn't keep me from navigating,
but it's aggravating because I have to stop and deal with the message.

Anyone have any suggestions.

BTW, it just happened again when I clicked on Post. And after it happened,
my post wouldn't go through.

Don't have DSL so this is just a guess in that your ISP might rely on a
cookie as part of the connection process.

Hi

This problem just started a few weeks ago. I have a feeling a setting of
some kind got changed......I just don't know where to look, or what to look
for.

Thank you for your response.

I don't know what cookies would have to do with this unless the cookie
is a
call home tracking cookie. Try this. Control Panel>>Internet Options>>
Connections>>LAN Settings>>[ x ] Automatically detect settings.
