Well, seeing that you are posting successfully to the Microsoft
news server, I'd say your Windows Mail is probably not the problem.

However, on the odd chance that your netnews.insightbb.com account
is corrupted, remove that netnews.insightbb.com account, restart
Windows Mail, then recreate that news account.

I don't feel it is a windows problem. Your problem is more than likely
netnews.insightbb.com. What are ALL the setting you have checked. Step by
step, blow by blow? You should add what operating system you use plus the
edition and service pack number. Along with what browser you use and email
client.
Exactly what is your Insight that makes you feel it is a windows problem.
Give use your insight if you will ,you could help use all.

If a copy of your post is found in Sent Items, the message was sent.
However, your News settings might need to be tweak...

Tools | Options | Read | Get XXX headers at a time

The default is 300. You may set this option as high as 1,000. Right-click
on the newsgroup(s) in Folders pane | Synchronization Settings | select New
Messages Only. Now every time you open the newsgroup (or hit F5), you will
download the next-newest set of headers/messages.

When you feel you've downloaded enough headers/messages, again right-click
on the newsgroup in Folders pane and select Catch Up Now. This will Mark as
Read all messages on the server, including ones you've not yet downloaded.
Now return to "Get XXX headers at a time" and uncheck the option completely.

From now on, Windows Mail will only download headers/messages posted to the
server since you last checked (polled) for messages.
