| Where can I send a new virus to mcafee which is already being

| Didn't help said - no virus ...
|
| But it is ...

| I used

| for scanning ...
|
| very good multiscanner ;-)

If you submit via WebImmune you had to register via an email address. You will receive an
email indicating a reference number. McAfee will check the file and if it is indeed malware
they will create an EXTRA.DAT and send it email to you (it could take a few days). By
placing the EXTRA.DAT in the Engine folder (same folder as SCAN.DAT) your McAfee scanner
will subsequently recognize the malware. McAfee will soon thereafter add the EXTRA.DAT
information in regular DAT signature distribution for everyone's benefit.

Webimmune said there is no virus inside ...
that's it :-(

Never used webimmune (or jotti.org). Just virustotal.com.

It is confusing that you say in your original post that you have a virus
but both McAfee and webimmune say no. So just why do you think you have
a virus?
