New Programs Installed

Every now and then I get a flag pointing to the Program
List indicating that a new program was installed.
However, it doesn't say what the new program is! Is there
any way I can find out what program it is referring to?

Click Start\All Programs: In the program list the new installed program
should be highlighted with a different color than the background color of
the list itself.

And could be under one of the other program groups.
