new PC, need full ver of FP2K

just got a new PC with WinXP Pro, trying to re-install my copy of FP2K and
get error {The system cannot read from the specified device} This isn't a
hrdware problem, I can read & install other CDs fine, I can even browse the
FP2K disk, if I click on the setup file I get the same problem. I think my
disk is bad, I have a legit product ID, just need the software.

Try washing the CD (gently).

I used to have to clean the peanut butter off my CDs when my kids were younger. If that failed, with nothing left to lose...a little toothpaste and water to polish the scratches off..but that can also ruin the cd so its definitely last resort.
