All Upper Case lettering normal in your magazines? Newspapers? Brochures?
Advertisements? Web pages you visit?
There's likely a reason! It's hard to read, everything runs together and it
seems like you are SHOUTING at everyone who reads it.

Did you actually get a hard disk drive or did you get a whole new computer?

Files and Settings Transfer wizard transfers *your files* and *your
settings*. The Operating System and such are not (despite what you might
think) yours. You are granted use of them, but you did not create them from
scratch.

You need a cloning/imaging utility and some newer drives (if you buy retail)
come with these utilities in the sale. You may even be able to visit the
web page for the new hard drive (the manufacturer web page) and download a
utilitiy to transfer the system from one drive to another.

You seem to know this - since you used the phrase 'ghost to the new system'

Otherwise - you might look into these products:

Symantec/Norton Ghost

Caps lock habit from job I have. I actually purchases a 10,000 rpm hard drive
to go with the fx-62 processor upgrade. I have 2 legal copies of xp pro and a
vista ultimate which will not run on my system. All I am wanting to do is
switch the speed and keep the system set up the way it has been without the
hassle of setting it up again. Thank you for your time.

You'll probably see very little speed increase from the drive alone.

When you upgraded the processor - did you also have to replace the
motherboard and/or memory?
If so, you may have to not only ghost (clone) the drive from old to new
drive - but also perform an in-place or repair installation of Windows XP to
get it to recognize the new hardware without a complete reinstall.

How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install

As far as how many license you have of Windows XP - if you replaced just the
processor and hard disk drive - that seems unimportant (in other words - you
could have had just one and been just fine.)

use the drive image program that came with the new drive.
install the new drive as slave.
image the old one to the new one.
take the old out and replace it with the new.
