Networking and user accounts

I have a small home network consisting of a desktop and laptop. On my laptop
I have set up 2 users (both with full administrative rights) - one personal
and one for work.

I have set up a network and from the desktop can see the laptop which is in
the same workgroup. However from the desktop I can access 'my documents' in
the laptop's personal account but cannot access the my docuemnts folder
associated with the 'work' user account.

The network is working fine otherwise so I dont think it a network set up
issue but more likely an issue on the laptop where I set up the user accounts.

Any suggestions? Thanks

which user account are you using to access the laptp?
both accounts need to exist on both systems in order to access files and
folders, otherwise you must connect using the account on the remote system.
Desktop: user = personal : user = work
Laptop: user = personal : user = work
