Network Woes

Desktop = xp pro
Laptop = xp home
Laptop can ping itself
Desktop can't ping because of command line problems.
[f:windows\systems32\command.com]
Desktop can cruise and share all over laptop
Laptop can't share printers, files or anything else with xp pro
Tried changing settings, logons, sharing, firewalls, etc. I need some
serious help!

If the desktop can't run a cmd prompt it has a problem that needs to be
addressed before you can troubleshoot the networking problem. Many of the
troubleshooting techniques involve using the cmd prompt.

For XP, it should be "CMD" and not "COMMAND"
