network place ftp drag and drop problem

I have a network place who's location is my webserver. I've been ftp'ing
files using it without any problem for a long time.

Recently however I noticed I can't drag and drop files anymore. If I have
the location open, and I try to drag a local file to it (just like I would
to a local directory) I get a 'circle-with-a-slash' mouse icon, and I can't
transfer the file. However, I *can* cut and paste files to it, and that will
transfer the file.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

I have just started having the exact same problem. This morning I
clicked "Yes" to installing the latest windows bandaids from MSFT. I
can not be 100% sure, but right after that is when I noticed that D'n'D
to my FTP network place stopped working. Can anyone please help figure
this out? Is it a new undocumented security "feature"??
