Network client cannot be accessed but can access other clients

Hi, I have a 3 PC wireless network all on XP Pro machines that connect
via a 3Com 54g router. Everything has worked with no problem for the
last 2 years (at least) but today all of a sudden one of the pcs cannot
be accessed although it can access the other 2 pcs on the network. I
have changed none of the setting neither on my firewall (Agnitum Outpost
Pro) nor on the anti virus (Avast Pro). When I attempt to access the PC
from another client, I get the message that the network address is
unavailable. What could the network to go awol all of a sudden ? Any
ideas. Thanks ! Pete

Found it, is was event ID 2011 and the IRPStackSize value in the
registry which was causing the problem. I set it to 22 instead of the
default 15 and everything worked again. The problem was perhaps caused
by installing Avast AV in the machine but why the error occurred on just
this one PC and not on the others is anyone's guess.
