Netmeeting or video conferencing

We upgraded a computer with Windows XP from Wndows ME.
Since then the video conferencing facility using net
meeting does not work anylonger. I downloadaded the newest
messenger version and also created a passport, but when
inviting the other side it does not connect.

What do I need to do ?

Why ? what happens? NetMeeting on XP should be much the same as on ME.

Netmeeting is not a cross platform for Win XP, you can use the XP messenger or type at the run cmd "conf.exe" to initiate the netmeeting from XP machine.
