net send in vista

the cmd-comment 'net send <computername> <message>' doesn't exist in windows
vista. I only can choose these funcions when I use 'net'+command:
-net accounts, net computer, net config, net continue, net file, net group,
net help, net helpmsg, net localgroup, net pause, net print, net session, net
share, net start, net statistics, net stop, net time, net use, net user and
net view.

does anybody know how to activate net send? (and I don't need anything like
windows live messenger, only net send (or the new name, if the name just had
changed)

(I'm sorry for the bad english.)

Net send is no longer supported in Vista. This post may give you other
options.

Can't use net send in vistaWe have implemented so many solutions based on
'net send' and the messenger service. As I know the Messenger Service is no
longer supported from Windows ...

AFAIK the 'net send' command option has been removed as a security
precaution.

Really your better off IMHO getting your relatives to use a IM, ie.
Messenger or AOL IM or etc, program of some sort. Personally I use Skype for
both PC-to-PC voice calls and IM. The data link is encrypted so there is no
chance of someone intercepting your conversation.

yes, but in these programs you can log out, and I can send everything, but
they won't receive anything. and my relatives don't know how to put net send
off, but they know MSN, Skype, and more of that (yahoo messenger, ...)...

so I'm searching something that gives the kind of messages like net send,
that you can't ignore without changing the services.msc-settings, and where
you have to press ok or something, so you can't ignore it.
