Need desktop icon to open "public calendar" in Outlook 2003

The president of our company is not as handy with a mouse as some people are.
He has requested that we put an icon on his desktop so he can just click and
see the office calendar. I found a way to do this with his own calendar in
Outlook 2002, by using the switch /select outlook:calendar. But now I have 2
problems.
He now has Outlook 2003. The "outlook bar" has changed and is not as easy
for him to use by using the file tree (tiny writing and minimal play space
for the mouse)
The calendar he wants is shared calendar, "Office Calendar" in a file called
All public folders, which is itself in a folder called public folders. I am
having difficulty getting the icon to work. I use Outlook.exe, and the
"/select" switch. However, I
cannot seem to get to the Public Folders file. (/select public folders/all
public folders:Office Calendar) Some of us still have Outlook 2002 (like
myself) After having to stomp out little office 'fires' because the outlook
bar does not function the same way, I'm not so sure I want to move into newer
versions of Outlook myself!

I'm sure there must be a way, I'm just not well versed enough in Outlook
2003 to figure this one out. Please help.

You need to put the path to the folder in quotation marks because it contains spaces. You also have the option of using the link syntax discussed at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/links.htm

I don't get this to work. I am trying with this string:

"C:\Program\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" Outlook:Calendar /select
"Gemensamma mappar/Alla gemensamma mappar:Lugers kalender"

What am I doing wrong?
I run outlook 2003 on xp.

You need a / instead of a : --
