How to access Public folders and calendar through POP and SMTP

Hi,

Can anyone help in configuring the Microsoft outlook 2003 with Public
Folders and Calendar. What i want is to configure email account through
POP/SMTP but could also able to see my public folders and calendra.

Not possible. POP3 gives you access only to your Inbox. To do what you want requires an Exchange account.

POP3/SMTP doesn't support Public Folders or pushing/exchanging calendar data
with your Exchange mailbox. IMAP would let you access public folders on an
exchange server*. Ideally if you where connecting to an Exchange 2003
server, you might want to find out if the site supports RPC/HTTPS
connections.

The insight connector would allow special folders to keep their mapi
properties when you connect using IMAP, but I'm not sure if it also works on
public folders.
