Naming folders in Shared Pictures

There are two users on my computer. One user inadvertently clicked on a key
and the folder names in shared pictures disappeared. They are still there in
the other user's shared pictures. How do we restore the folder names. When we
click on rename the name appears but we can't keep it there. I'm sure there
is a simple solution.

Make the view someting other than thumbnails (View menu), then hold down
shift while switching to thumbnails.
