My Toolbars Keep Resetting - Help

I have my toolbars set up a certain way, then I lock them. Everything is
fine until I reboot, when all my settings seem to go away and the toolbars go
to some other configuration and I have to start all over.

Any suggestions within the registry, etc.... to fix this?

Thank you.

Windows version? IE version?

One or more options/settings in an ever-growing number of third-party
applications may be disallowing the setting from "sticking". These include
but are not limited to Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer,
SpywareBlaster, SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor, Norton AntiVirus, McAfee
VirusScan and/or Antispyware, and Zone Alarm (Free and Pro).

Hi PA Bear, I have IE 6.0.2900.2180

I did install the new version of Spybot, the free version and that is about
when the problem started I think. So I uninstalled it and rebooted, still
having the same issue.... any other suggestions?

I have to reset all my toolbar settings everytime I reboot, which is once
per day.

Thanks for your help.

Was TeaTime enabled when Spybot was installed?

Yes it was... I ended up installing IE7 and the issue went away. Although I
would have loved to keep IE6 and just get rid of the issue. What should I
have done?

I have XP Home by the way

It would have been best to disable Tea Timer before uninstalling Spybot,
Bryan. It looks like upgrading to IE7 managed to straighten things out for
you. Thanks for your feedback on this.
