yesterday i was listening to tunes on my windows media player.. everything
was good
i came to computer today and now no sound comes on when i try to play song
on media player it says : Windows Media Player cannot play the file because
there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device
installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it
might not be functioning properly
so i went through some troubleshooting .. and i tried to uninstall the
speakers and ten reinstall .. but i don't have the cd for instalation of my
speakers.. and i dont' have the book that came with them..
so i don't know how i can reinstal them without that stuff...
anybody know what i can do???

You should be looking for sound card drivers.. speakers do not have
drivers..

Restart the computer and hit F8 to go to the boot screen. Select "Restore
Last Known Hardware... huh... something" and see if this makes any
different.
