MY SOUND DEVICE WONT WORK!

It says that its gone or something..im not sure...im not great w/
computers...but, its like, my sound device wont work and my paintbrush
program has like disappeared from my computer....and my games...im so
confused...I WANT SOUND!! some1 help!!
