My Network Places left pane view missing

Tom D

When I open My Network Places in WinXP Pro, one computer has a left pane
showing, and the other does not. In the left pane is "Network Tasks", "Other
Places" and "Details." How do I get this back on the one that is missing it?

Thanks in advance

Tom

Greetings Tom,

Double-click "My Network Places" or "My Computer" on the Desktop, click
Tools, Folder Options, and under the General tab, make sure the "Show common
tasks in folders" is checked. Then click "Apply" and "Okay".

Try View - Explorer Bar - uncheck Folders.

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
