My Music Folder

In my music folder, many of the songs are grouped into subfolders with the
album title listed on them and the actual song is within the folder. This is
very annoying as I would only like the song titles to show up and not have to
open this sub folder to get to it. Any suggestions on settings, or changes I
need to make to have this happen. This occurs with both downloaded songs
mostly from Walmart, and from songs ripped straight from CD's.

HELP!!!!!!

It's been a while since I did this but... You should be able to customize
your music I. e. cut or copy, then paste individual songs where wanted. You
should be able to place them in the My Music folder itself.

I used Media Player to save my albums as wma files and it created a folder
for each CD saved with the songs for each CD. I remember having to go in
and rename the songs. I then did above, creating my own special
combinations as wanted, saving the originals for future use.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't this basically just copying & pasting? I was
trying to have to avoid having to do this with over 1,000 songss on my
computer!
Isn't there some other way to expand/open/bypass or whatever the subfolders
that they are in? My other hard drive's My music folder does not display
it's content's like this & I have compared the properties on the two
folder's, but there is nothing different. Any advice would help!!

Thanks!!

Over 1,000 songs... You're correct; this is one dilly of a copy/paste job.
Only way I know of to do what you want to do is change default folders.
There probably is a way but I don't know how to do it. I'd suggest you take
your time, do the old copy/paste, and leave what you have intact, provided
you have the HD space.

As an aside, I'm not far behind you. I did a rough count and I have close
to 600 songs just from original uploads from my CD collection. Add another
300 as my special mixes. It CAN be done :)
