Disable My Music folder behavior?

When I copy songs from one subfolder to another (i.e.: My Music\Whatever),
Windows also copies other junk along with it, like the album art files. Is
there a way to stop this?

What I've described happens on 3 machines, all of which are free of anything
nasty. Do you have any other suggestions?
