My exploer shell version

I've just discovered that my explorer shell version is:
"Explorer shell [Version 5.1.2600.1106, R1507]"

I thought I had updated it. Wasn't the shell changed in SP2?

I'm meant to be using 2007 with the added 2008 Pack.

There was only two versions of the Explorer shell component released by Microsoft:
Explorer shell [Version 5.1.2600, R620], [Visibility=1000]
Explorer shell [Version 5.1.2600.1106, R1507], [Visibility=1000]


You got the latest.

Please don't confuse Explorer Shell component and Explorer App that was changed in every major SP and FP release including SP2.
Explorer Shell is very simple component inheriting from Shell Prototype and having dependencies on Explorer App and Winlogon.
