I am trying to find My Briefcase in Windows 2000. I have
tried Search but it does not find the file. I would like
to have the MY BRIEFCASE ICON on my desk top so that I can
use files between my Comuter and Laptop

I may be wrong but I don't think Win2k has the breifcase functionality.
I've never used it but I don't remember seeing it.

Maybe you didn't put in the feature, I know I didn't. BUT ANYWAY...
tHIS IS IN YOUR VERY OWN help...

To create a new Silly Briefcase

On the desktop, right-click My Silly Computer, and then click Silly
Explore. Click the silly folder in which you want to create the new
Silly Briefcase. On the Silly File menu, point to Silly New, and then
click Silly Briefcase.
Note

To create a new Silly Briefcase on your silly desktop, right-click
anywhere on the silly desktop, select Silly New and then Silly
Briefcase.

Briefcase does not appear on this list on my machine. I thought that
Briefcase might not have been initially installed but it is not listed under
"Add/Remove Windows Components" in "Add/Remove Programs" and it does not
appear to be available for installation from the original Windows 2000 CD.

Information about Suitcase does appear in the help files so I am a little
puzzled at the moment!

Many thanks,

David
