Hi,

I'd really appreciate any help on this.

I have been using the Windows XP Briefcase fairly successfully between my home and work computers using a flashdrive.

Today, I am getting this message:

Some files in the Briefcase have sync copies that are

inaccessible. These files will not be updated until

the sync copies are accessible from this computer.

The flashdrive files are in the F drive with a path of F:\AFlashDrive

The Briefcase files are in C:\MyFiles\Briefcase

In Windows Explorer, in the Briefcase folder, a column says: Sync Copy in ()F:\AFlashDrive
and the status is listed as unchanged.

I can open the files on the F drive.
I deleted a file from the Briefcase (from a folder called Excel) and then tried to drag the file from the Flashdrive to the Briefcase Excel folder. and I get this message:
Sync copies cannot be created in 'Excel' because the

folder itself already has or is a sync copy

To add files to this folder, move them into the folder and

click Update All.

Yet the file is no longer visible in the Briefcase Excel folder. I can neither drag nor paste it as the system thinks that it is already there.

How can I get my Briefcase to update?

Thank you!
