Is there a way to create multiple identities in Outlook? Every search
result I've read talks about only doing so in Outlook Express.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Outlook doesn't use identities - it uses Profiles. To create a new Profile
do Control panel-Mail-Show Profiles-Add. Be aware that you can't switch
Profiles in Outlook like you can identities in OE. Outlook has to be closed
to switch to a different profile...

Yes, that helps. Thanks.

So, does that mean after adding a second profile, the next time you open
Outlook, there is some box that pops up asking you to choose which profile
to open?

Yes, but only if you check the box to get Outlook to ask when you create the
new profile.

Providing you set 'Prompt for Profile'

Be aware that you can't switch Profiles in Outlook like you can identities
in OE. Outlook has to be closed to switch to a different profile...

As an FYI, the only difference between OE and Outlook when switching
profiles is how you do it - OE includes a shortcut that closes OE and
reopens with the new identity (a lot of people think it just loads the new
identity without exiting and restarting). You have to close Outlook
yourself - or you could use a batch or utility to close it and load a new
profile for you.

That's because Outlook doesn't use Identities.
You have two options:
1. Create multiple Windows User Accounts (preferred) or
2. Create multiple Outlook profiles. (Control Panel-Mail-Show Profiles-Add)

You need to be aware that you cannot switch Outlook Profiles like you can OE
Identities. Outlook has to be closed and then re-started.

As mentioned in the post you replied to, what OE calls Identities, Outlook
calls profiles.
Outlook does not use identities - it uses Profiles. To create a new
Profile
do Control panel-Mail-Show Profiles-Add. Be aware that you cannot switch
Profiles in Outlook like you can identities in OE.

Outlook also supports multiple email accounts in a profile.
