Mu Documents by the Clock

One of the recent Microsoft Automatic Updates installed by my clock facility
which produces at one click all the Folders in My Documents. On selection of
an individual Folder it produces all the files in that folder. This is much
quicker way of getting to the files, but there is one problem!The files are
not in any order and therefore if I want a file which is of the latest date
I have to look through all the files in that folder and since I have couple
of hundreds of files in some folders it is very time consuming.I tried to
put the files in some order e.g."Modified" as one can under My Documents
icon, but neither a left or right click produces anything at all.
Does any one know how to arrange these files in the order of the latest
modification?

No, Windows Update did not do that. How that happened was due to
something else.
