msspc.ecf

I am getting the following error when trying to start Outlook 2003

The extension configuration file "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11\ADDINS\msspc.ecf" could not be installed. There is an error
in the syntax or format of the file.

I have had Outlook 2003 intstalled for months and no problems, suddenly I am
getting this error. Have tried uninstalling reinstalling everything I could
find on the net.

Someone please help.

It's for OL2000 but it should still be applicable

Yeah thanks Vince

I had already tried that one, but I tried it again and removed the ref in
regedit thought the search function, 'cause the reference to the .ecf file
was in a different location.

Still does the same thing. Any ideas ?
