After starting my system I keep getting an annoying pop up message from the
windows installer saying that it is unable to install the sonic activation
module. Having checked my system for this module and tried to uninstall
using windows itself it appears that the file is corrupted and needs a more
powerfull uninstaller or some other method to remove it. Can anyone help?

Have you uninstalled "Sonic" software or anything related? If so, this may be
a registry removal, manually, for all references to "sonic". Check Start
Menu, Programs, Start Up for entries related to "sonic". If unfamiliar with
RegEdit (from the "Run" command,) research before use. There ARE tools
available which remove obsolete registry entries (Google search for registry
cleaners)
