Sorry everyone. It has been so long since the loss.
It was word pad in windows accessories that I lost.
Just went through another search, no where to be found.
Can it be reinstalled? If so how?

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select: NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type in:
"C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe" , and click "Next"
3. In the next window, type in: WordPad , and click "Finish"
4. A new WordPad shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop.

You could still possibly have it. My Wordpad works fine but I did a search
for Wordpad.exe and windows search didn't find it for some reason. A search
for wordpad turned up some shortcuts to it so I right clicked on one, chose
Properties and found it exists at
"C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe". In Explorer,
navigate to that Accessories folder, right click on wordpad.exe, choose
Copy. Now right click an open spot on your desktop and choose Paste
Shortcut.
