ms-word creates html dash problem for front page

Guest

frontpage reads a file created in html-mode by ms-word;

the problem: frontpage displays a "_" character at the front of some (quite
a few) blank lines....

under what circumstances does word create the "-" and why does frontpage
detect such a character???

FP can read any HTML document.

FP will only display what it seen in the page, so Word is insert the character and FP is displaying
it.

You need to post to the Word Newsgroup, as it is Word that is creating the document, not FP
