Hi,
In the past few days my account has been flooded by a number of mails
from MS network security with subjects like BUG NOTICE,NEWEST INTERNET
PACK,CRITICAL PATH.How can I stop receiving these mails?.Its flooding
my yahoo acct. From the headers I found that the mails were coming from
Netherlands,Australia,America etc.Its my yahoo inbox that is being
flooded.Yahoo provides help only if the mail originates from a yahoo
center or domain. Is there any provision by which I can stop these
mails?

Just in case you haven't bothered to read any of the other threads in this
newsgroup in the last week, these "Microsoft" emails are the SWEN virus.

As usual, do NOT execute the attachments. Many threads talk about how to
block or filter them.

Strictly speaking, no. I suggest you read some of the Swen.A threads
here, this will answer many questions you might still like to ask.

YES! Paste your headers ONLY into an email with a note, and send it to
the ISP that is named on the Message-ID line in the header of each mail.
Do not forward the entire message. Do not forward the attachment either.
ONLY THE HEADERS ARE NECESSARY. This must be done for each and every
message - very time consuming, yes but once that is done the ISP will
take it from there and you won't get a message again from the same
sender(first line in the header). I am getting fewer messages each day.
Today I got only six.
I have sent out 55 abuse complaints and have had a few nice replies as well.
Generally you address the complaint to (e-mail address removed)/.com
For the subject line put something like "False Microsoft Email"
Type your note first then put your headers underneath.
