I have been receiving e-mails that are supposedly from
microsoft with subjects like "Newest Security Patch",etc.
that are quite large(156k) and they look official and say
the following or something like it: Microsoft Customer
this is the latest version of security update,
the "September 2004, Cumulative Patch" update which
resolves all known security vulnerabilities affecting MS
Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express as
well as three newly discovered vulnerabilities. Install
now to continue keeping your computer secure. This update
includes the functionality of all previously released
patches. "
It includes attachments. Are these real emails or are
they posing as microsoft to invade my computer. Does
microsoft ever email updates? Thanks for your help.
