MS Graph keeps changing color palates on line charts.

I've got color palate issues on MS Graph line charts in particular.
If I modify the colors on both lines of the palate (Chart Fills and
Chart Lines)while in the chart color palate (Tools>Options>Color) and
leave the chart they are fine with the new colors. BUT when I go back
into the chart, MS Graph immediately resets the colors on the chart to
the defaults! The chart fills (top line) takes on the presenation
color palate and the chart line (bottom) takes on those MS neon
default colors. Why is this happening?

What am I doing? And how do I fix this issue?

Hm. I've not seen this issue, but I usually change my colors by choosing
a swatch in the palette and modifying it via Tools/Options/Color.

It may be that those 16 swatches at the bottom will return to those
defaults (color schemes for the fills and MS defaults for the lines)
regardless. Try using the palette itself and see if that helps.
