MS AntiSpy schedules and XP 'Scheduled Tasks'

MS AntiSpy runs it's own schedule for scans and updates
but these do not appear in the XP 'Scheduled Tasks'. Is it
intended that they will ?

It is very convenient to see all scheduled activities in
the one place as is done for Norton scans and updates
(NetDetect).

(I made a very similar post earlier but it did not appear
in the group.)

You are right, and I don't know what the plans are for
Scheduled Tasks integration. For now, we will have to
manage on our own with the schedule within MS
AntiSpyware, which is pretty complete in itself.

By coincidence I have just had an update (5685)
notification timed 1712 GMT which is odd as the scheduled
update check should run at 1800 GMT. Is there some 'push'
mechanism I don't know about or could it be another
schedule funny.

I don't think there is a push--so I'll vote for another "funny"--given how
many of those there are!
