MPEG Display/Play Issue in Windows XP Home Edition

Dave

Hi,

I've posted this in another group and haven't had a response. Maybe
someone here has seen this issue.

I have an issue when trying to play a 30 minute MPEG, I believe its
MPEG1 because not all MPEGs have this issue.

When trying to play a 30 minute video clip, any player shows its only
20 seconds long and it will only play those 20 seconds of video, but
the audio will continue to play.

I've tried reinstalling/updating drivers, reinstalled DirectX 9.0 and
it doesn't seem to work. The only thing that works is I can convert
it
to AVI format and this solves the issue.

I have a P4 3.0 Ghz with 1.5gig of Ram and an ATI Radeon 9250 video
card

My second PC plays them correctly. Anyone ever seen this issue?

Thanks

Dave
