moving the Client-side cache

Hi,
I am using Windows XP Pro SP2. I recently purchased a network storage
system and now I want to set up Offline Files for my two computers. The
problem is that I want the CSC folder on the D drive instead of in the
system root folder. I looked online for the proceedure to move the CSC
folder to the D drive, but got so many different methods that I didn't
trust any of them. Has someone out there done this with Windows XP and
if so, what method should I use? I would appreciate step-by-step how to
accomplish it if possible.

I found all the Microsoft stuff, but it was difficult to understand and
I don't think I have the files I need to move it that way.

Thanks!

You need a resource kit utility for this - the Offline Files Cache Mover. It
isn't available for free download.

Personally, I've had dreadful experiences with offline files and would
suggest SecondCopy from www.centered.com as a much more graceful
alternative....I use this for all my laptop users.
