Offline Files Configuration

N

needinfo

I have recently come across a situation where a users laptop has run out of
allocated space on the C Drive to cache offline files.

Without increasing the amount of disk space needed for Offline Files which
folders do I need to go in and manually clear out?

I believe there is a folder in the Windows Directory called CSC which caches
files as well as the offline files folder.

Please can you provide a solution that does not impact on the files that are
stored on the network itself

Thanks

Since Offline Folders are usually synced at log on or log off, removing
any files from the OF would just cause a replacement (or deletion) next
time. The folder you're speaking of IS the OF.

You could specify OF not to sync all subfolders (which isn't a resolve
IMO), or change the location of My Documents (if that's what is being
synced) to not include specific folders for syncing (by placing them
outside the OF location), but otherwise you'll have to increase the OF
disk capacity.
