Move E-mail only once?

Susan York

I have Outlook 2003, recently installed SP2, under WIN XP Home. A
couple of times, I have "missed the target" when dragging some E-mail
to a different folder. When I try to move the mail to the correct
folder, I get an Outlook popup which says: "Can't move the items. The
items could not be moved. It was already either moved or deleted, or
access was denied." It didn't do that before, however, I have been
unable to find the right place to turn this off. Any help?

Hi Susan,

The most common reason for receiving the error message you reported is that too many items are selected when trying to perform an operation (move, copy, delete, and so on).

Please refer to the following Knowledge Base (KB) article for more information on how to avoid this error message.

Scott,

Thanks, but I was only trying to move a single message. Can't get
much fewer than that! ;)
