Mouse Pointer

Hi Guys my mouse pointer seems to have a mind of its own.
when my desktop comes up, the pointer moves to the left
and settles in the top left hand corner. it is impossible
to click on anything. i have tried different mouse (usb,
p/s2, optical, roller) but all are the same. Could this
be spyware, I have run adaware 6, spybot, cwshredder but
i still have this prob. any advice would be really great

I have seen this problem with IP-KVM's. If you access your
servers from one console through a KVM, that's where the
problem could be.
I doubt that this is spyware, as by nature spyware usually
likes to remain "undetected" to collect information about
you. Have you tried checking your system for viruses? If
you don't have antivirus software, try

I have McAfee and it is up to date. Event logs dont show
anything too unusual. This one is really baffling me.

No! Event log does not give any clue. I am having same kind of problem here
on my network over 2 - 3 computers, one is Win2000 one is Win98.
Eveyrthing is OK, Anti virus is updated and all but dont know what???
