Motive Monitor Service ERROR

The following error happens usually at start up, and
often while I am working in Windows XP Pro:

Motive Monitor Service has encountered a problem and
needs to close. Send or do not send to Microsoft.

If anyone knows what might be causing this message and
how to fix the problem, please let me know as soon as
possible.

Motive Monitor is related to Dell's Resolution Assistant. It is known
for being crash-prone. You can uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs or
at the very least, stop it from starting with Windows using msconfig.
