Monitor Resolution

We re-installed are computer a few months ago. Our screen resolution when we
got this computer last year was 1024 x 768, but now the default is 800 x 600.
I have changed it back in the display panel, but it doesn't look right.
Everything seems smaller and graphics aren't as crisp as they used to be.
It's like I'm forcing it to be 1024 x 768 because it only looks normal on 800
x 600 which it didn't used to be. How can I fix this? Thanks.

After you update the drivers you may need to experiment with different
refresh rates as this may affect sharpness on inferior low end monitors,
e.g., Compaq, HP etc.
