Display settings

Since I re-plugged in my LCD monitor back to my desktop the default screen
resolutions seems to have changed and I cannot get to the settings to
re-adjust them.

The auto-adjustment option of the monitor adjusts the size to 800 X 600,
which is not good enough.

Start menu is not visible.

Any idea how to reset the screen resolution to 1024 X 768, using command
line perhaps?

Do a System Restore to a date just before you unplugged your monitor.

Could also be that you knocked your video card loose, so the PC thinks it's
a different card and has loaded the generic drivers.

Refer to LCD Monitor manual to know How to Auto Adjust Monitor
resolution. Also see if there is an option to adjust the resolution in
the monitor manually from the setup interface
