The problem is not with your monitor, it's with your video adapter, you need
to install the drivers for it.

We have no idea..
We do not know what video card (hardware) you have.
You do...

If you don't - you have the means to...

- Open the machine and find out...
- Look at your receipt...

You need to reinstall the driver for the video card (and for all the other
hardware devices). Did the computer come with a CD of drivers? Otherwise
if it's a retail graphics card go to the card manufacturer's web site for
the driver. If it's an OEM computer such as Dell or HP get it from the
computer manufacturer's web site. If it's an on board graphics chip, get
the driver from the motherboard manufacturer's web site.
